Scendiamo e l’ometto ci segue, mi chiede se sto portando il canino a fare la pipì. “Assolutamente no”, penso, “andiamo al macello”. Ma dico “Certo”. Certo con la sc di scimitarra, perchè quando sono stanca prendo un influsso pratese.

Sposto il bengiamino: ogni volta che si esce dall’ascensore ti frusta la faccia con quelle fogliettine carine all’apparenza, ma rigide come le suore. Il mio cane  ama questa pianta e prova a mangiarsela appena può; stasera mi ha fatto la pipì sui piedi mentre aspettava che io mi liberassi dell’omino dei surgelati: una figura inquietante, dai colori sgargianti, che mi ha bussato alla porta (chi gli avrà aperto il portone?) chiedendo se avevo visto il catalogo e se volevo ordinare della roba. Quale catalogo e perchè mai dovrei volere ordinare dei ravioli cucinati, raffreddati, surgelati, scongelati, che posso rimettere in una pentola a ricuocere: cos’è, voglio sperimentare le reincarnazioni delle farine?

Poi sono allergica a tutto, mi prude tutto, mi si alzando dei rigoni sul collo basta che tocchi qualcosa di buono. Forse potrei ordinare i gelatini mignon, quelli che ne mangi dodici e pensi di avere accumulato meno di un cono. Ma più di tutto non capisco cosa ci fa questo qui davanti a me, che sto per portare fuori Rogna, il canino, a chiedermi le cose. Il cane si ribella e me la fa addosso, io non so se lasciare mia figlia incustodita, andare a comprare un fucile e ammazzare l’animale, facendo finta di non avere mai visto il frozen man. Oppure potrei chiedere all’uomo frigorifero di guardare Cecilia mentre sgozzo il cane. Oppure potrei lasciare, mi sembra la migliore, Rogna e Capitan Findus qui in casa ed espatriare. Per sempre.

La tentazione di perdere la propria identità bancaria, sociale, sanitaria, inps, tutte le carte dei supermercati, profumerie, banche, mezzi di strasporto, tutte le tessere di plastica dura che mi funestano la vita, è fortissima oggi. Eppure il Polaretto non si sposta, e mi continua a parlare, postponendo il nostro (?) appuntamento a giovedì pomeriggio. Gli dico di sì, più che altro per non doverlo avere ancora davanti. Ha guance rossissime. Ha un parrucchino. Ha le dita grasse, forse è lui stesso consumatore di prodotti trattati da rivogare nelle pentole: con tutta quell’acqua che si rapprende e si sublima – buon per lei – sai che ritensione.

E’ tempo di chiudere la porta con un gesto teatrale, per poi riaprirla. Il barone rosso è sempre lì, anche dopo che ho passato il mocio vileda sui miei piedi, sul pavimento, dopo che ho risciacquato e ripassato, aperto la finestra per asciugare e fatto la faccia più truce al cagnaccio: sei fortunato che non ho qui l’affettatrice. Scendiamo e l’ometto ci segue, mi chiede se sto portando il canino a fare la pipì. “Assolutamente no”, penso, “andiamo ala monta taurina a dare a questo cane una lezione medievale”. Ma dico “Certo”. Certo con la sc di scimitarra, perchè quando sono stanca prendo un influsso pratese. Incontro la signora F, che è sorda e urla. Ha una cana sorda e cieca. Ci fermiamo in amabile conversazione (?) finchè Rogna prova a montare la cana, che è quattro volte pià grande di lui. Meno male non ci sono specchi a giro stasera, perchè non riconoscerei la persona nel tondo, stasera.

Leur faire savoir que la façon de soigner est différente de celle des sorciers et des charlatans et que le Coran recèle guérison et miséricorde, comme l’a informé Allah le Puissant et le Majestueux. 7.
